Jamaican marital laws requires that couples wishing to get married must: |

Be on the island at least 24 hrs prior to ceremony |
| |
Posses a valid birth certificate |
| |
If either party has been previously married, a copy of divorce certificate |
| |
Have the ceremony conducted by a Pastor licensed to practice in Jamaica |
| |
Have at least two witnesses |
| |
A Notarized copy of your birth certificate, passport or drivers license. |
| |
Notarized written parental consent if under 21. |
| |
Notarized proof of divorce, or notarized copy of death
certificate for widow/widower (if applicable. |
| |
Adoption papers if applicable. |
| |
The couple is required to be at the hotel at least 48 hours in
advance in order to finalize wedding arrangement and apply
for marriage license.
One government day is needed to apply for a marriage license. |

Members of the wedding party must be at the resort 24 hours |
| |
Before the ceremony.
